Therapies
All therapies are associated and complementary to manual therapy.
Having as its main function and objective the reduction and / or removal of pain, the synergistic combination of these precious resources allows to obtain the best possible result.
Osteopathy
Is a form of therapy that uses a set of manual techniques and non-invasive treatments, in order to heal injuries and relieve pain. through the recovery of organic balance. It is based on 3 fundamental principles:
– Globality: all the organs of the human body are functionally connected to each other;
– Self-regulation: the organism is endowed with a natural power of self-healing, self-regulation and self-defense;
– structure and functionality: all the components of the organism’s structure communicate with each other to maintain the state of health, therefore an obstacle in this communication affects functionality. According to these three principles, the osteopath treats the patient with the aim of restoring the harmony of the structure by treating the lesions from their origin and analyzing their possible causes. Structural osteopathy focuses on the musculoskeletal system. It is the most used to correct pathologies and injuries related to bones and muscles. Visceral osteopathy focuses on the stimulation and rehabilitation of the viscera and vital organs, such as the stomach, pancreas or reproductive system. Cranial osteopathy studies the relationship between the structure of the skull and the nervous system. Through this type of manipulation the mobility of the cerebrospinal fluid is stimulated, to recover the organic balance. It is effective for the treatment of organic diseases such as visceral disorders, digestive problems or alterations of the nervous system (sacral-cranial). It is indicated in the case of sports injuries, arthrosis, headache, neck pain, back pain, back pain, postural dysfunctions and everything that includes the maintenance of functional abilities.

Physiotherapy
Starting from a common back pain due to incorrect postural habits up to more complex neurological pathologies, Physiotherapy enters the field as a valid discipline that can give relief and provide healing.
It is based on a motor re-education that uses physical means such as manual / manipulative therapy, massage therapy, postural therapy and gymnastics; it allows to heal, acquire and recover the functionality of the limbs, joints and muscles, which was missing due to congenital or acquired events.
It helps manage certain health conditions such as muscle or bone and joint problems, lumbar pain and sudden injuries, disorders related to aging, joint dysfunctions, preparation for childbirth and preparation for a sporting event.

Kabat Method
The rehabilitation therapy known as the Kabat Method was born in the USA in the 1950s thanks to an intuition of Kabat observing the movements performed in dance and sport in general.
It consists of a neuro-muscular rehabilitation treatment, which has as its primary objective that of restoring full control of neuro-muscular movements.
This occurs through direct pressure on the injured parts and the repetition of some movements in which the therapist administers precise stimuli to the patient, controlling their intensity, duration, frequency and location according to the purpose, to facilitate the realization of a specific motor act.
Indicated for promoting muscle strengthening, improving coordination and balance, reducing stiffness and spasticity, in cases of injuries, scoliosis, low back pain and reduced or absent mobilization. Also very useful for athletes in promoting muscle lengthening.

Dry needling
Dry Needling is a modern treatment designed to relieve muscle pain. This technique involves inserting a needle into a painful area of the muscle to stimulate the release of trigger points, highly painful points in the context of one or more muscles of a region of the body. When stimulated they trigger local or referred pain (irradiated to another body area) and once released and deactivated, the symptoms improve significantly.
It is considered very useful in myofascial pain syndrome or chronic muscle pain.
Dry Needling is almost always associated and complementary to manual therapy and / or physiotherapy.

Acupuncture
It is a practice originating from Chinese medicine, which arrived in the West around 1600 thanks to some Portuguese missionaries returning from trips to the East.
It is a very ancient method, based on texts that date back to 2,500 BC. The philosophy underlying the practice is that of Yin and Yang, according to which our state of health depends on the harmonious interaction between the mind (Shen) and the energy functions (Qi) of the body.
The vital energy would flow along a network of channels, called ‘meridians’ and therefore, any pathology would be attributable to a block of energy circulation due to a deficit or accumulation of energy.
The stimulation of particular points on the meridians through the insertion of very thin needles into the dermis, would allow to unblock the energy flow, restoring health and well-being to the body.
Indicated in pain syndromes such as migraine, low back pain, arthrosis, neck pain, sciatica and in non-painful ones such as asthma, constipation, insomnia, anxiety, depression.

Moxa
Moxibustion is a therapeutic practice of ancient origins that is part of traditional Chinese medicine and exploits the healing power of heat.
It uses the pulverized, dried and crushed leaves of the Artemisia Abrotanum plant that shape a cigar called moxa.
Moxibustion occurs by burning the mugwort powder contained in the sticks on or near the skin. Thanks to the heat (Artemisia burns at a temperature of 800 °) and the active ingredients of the plant released on the skin, the healing process is stimulated.
Generally, each treatment involves a maximum of 6 points, which are the same acupuncture meridians on which the operator carries out, depending on the case, an energy dispersion or toning treatment.
Useful in the treatment of all ailments deriving from Cold and Humidity, especially in chronic diseases or where there is stasis of IQ and blood.
It can be effective in the case of joint pain, muscle contractures, digestive blocks, bronchitis, asthma, anxiety, insomnia and in general all inflammatory states.
